Get around it by quickly saving and restarting the game.) -SAVING- Use only two save slots, one "Primary" and one "Secondary". Save often on the primary, and save at important moments on secondary. -MONEY- Hire the best BUILDER worth 70 000. Focus on building NUCLEAR GENS and BUILDINGS. You will want a STADIUM as well. Set TAX to at least difficult. (Remember: Do not lose power, or people will start hating you, rebel, and you will lose the game.) -TRADE- Fast forward and hire the best DEVELOPER worth 250 000. Start researching, build two SATELLITES, send one to your own moon APOLLO, and another whereever else. Build ten SAT. CARRIERS. Explore the system. Build more MINES and DERRICKS. (And MINER DROIDS!) Build only one TRANSFER SHIP. Place MINER STATIONS on: New Earth Moon Apollo Zeus Moon Penelope Zeus Moon Itacha Klatoo Moon Barada Amnesty 2 Amnesty 2 Moon Mir Send TRADE GROUP to Jade and encounter the Jaanosians. Research the COMMUNICATOR. They will then contact you. Send your DEVELOPER to them. Build ten or twenty TRADE SHIPS. Gather ore from your mines. (Bug: If you forget to collect the ores from the Miner Stations they will fill up and you can't take them.) They will contact you again. Buy the mystery device. (HYPERSPACE DRV) Build COLONY on Apollo. Build DERRICKS. Wait a little with SPACE PORT and MINES. Build everything else you can. Tax heavily. Important. -WAR- The Jaanosians contact you. Ask for weapons. Build at least twenty HUNTERS. (Remember to arm them with LASER CANNONS.) (Suggestion: Always put all army units in one ARMY GROUP and keep it on your planet. Only New Earth ever gets attacked.) The Morgruls overcomes the Jaanoisians. Land TRADE GROUP on Jade and get the Radio. Place MINER STATIONS on: Jade Moon Gallilei Jade Moon Russel Jade moon Kepler (Bug: Having a Miner Station or Colony on or around Jade may disable your other Miner Stations.) Research HYPERSPACE DRV. Explore the Phoenix System. Talk to the Informer in the bar to discover Phoenix 5. -ATTENTION!- You are about to be attacked by the Morgruls. Make a third "Attention" save slot. (Use this for only these moments.) After battle make a fourth "Survival 1" save slot. To minimize your losses keep loading Attention until you're happy. Replace the units you have lost. Build GALLEON. Send TRADE GROUP to Phoenix 5. The Phelonians needs Energon. Ask for a new invention. Get BATTLE TANK designs. Send TRADE GROUP to Phoenix 3. The Kalls gives you ten STARFIGHTERS. Build ten more STARFIGHTERS. (Remember to arm all your units with TWIN LASER GUNS.) Hire the best FIGHTER worth 300 000. Maybe you have time to send him to University. -ATTENTION!- You are about to be attacked by the Morgruls a second time. After battle make a fifth "Survival 2" save slot. You know the drill. Build ten more STARFIGHTERS. Start building BATTLE TANKS. (Remember to arm them.) (Note: Battle Tanks are better than Troopers, but now you get them first.) Your RADIO receives a S.O.S. message from Phoenix 1. You may not have discovered this planet. It can be discovered if you have a COLONY with an OBSERVATORY on Phoenix 2. (But people are dying from radiation, and they'll probably rebel before you can research and build an ANTI RAD SHIELD.) If you travel to Phoenix 1 and you have researched TRACTOR BEAM your pilot will encounter a Morgrul ship, take prisoners, and give you the chance to prevent their alliance with the kalls. (ADVICE: Don't bother. Phoenix 2 can wait.) -ATTENTION!- You are about to be attacked by the Morgruls a third time. After battle make a sixth "Survival 3" save slot. You know the drill. You may not even have any losses at all. Ask your bartender about the new guy. Say you'll talk to the spy, then talk to the spy. Hire the spy. Discover the MIRACH System. Build SPY SATELLITES. (Warning: They're expensive! Use only if the normal ones are lost.) Plant SPY SATELLITES on Jade, Phoenix 3, Phoenix 5 and Mirach 3. (Note: You can not invade an enemy planet unless your SPY SATELLITE has discovered the identity of the inhabitants. You can not invade allies.) -ATTACK- Send your ARMY GROUP to Jade. Invade! Your 20 HUNTERS and 30 STARFIGHTERS should do the job. 5 or 10 BATTLE TANKS should also do the job. You now a free COLONY. You know the drill. Build everything. 9 MINES and lots of DERRICKS. Remember the MINER DROIDS. This is important! You will need a lot of DETOXIN and ENERGON soon. Use a normal SATELLITE on Mirach 2 Moon 1 and find Explorer 1. Research DESTROYER and MISSILE. Then research SPACE STATION. Buy only a single one SPACE STATION. It's really expensive. Build 5 DESTROYERS, one at a time. Build BATTLE TANKS. (Remember to arm all units.) -ATTACK- Send your ARMY GROUP to Mirach 3. Invade. Your 20 Hunters, 30 STARFIGHTERS and 5 DESTROYERS should do the job. 35-40 BATTLE TANKS might do the job. Keep them at a distance and attack only one enemy ground unit at a time, or they'll overwhelm you. You won. Send your ARMY GROUP home. Now make a seventh "Morgrul" save slot. And you have another free COLONY. (How to actually attack: Using your GALACTIC MAP you select the planet, select your ARMY GROUP, then select the upper GROUND WAR button. If you selected the enemy fleet you will just get an ATTACK button instead.) HOORAY! YOU'VE WON! WAIT! THERE's MORE! You now have three more systems to explore. CARRIER GROUP away! -THE LEAGUE- Do not send your TRADE GROUP to the new systems. Use CARRIER GROUP only! The instant they meet you they will declare war on you. Start producing HUNTERS, FIGHTERS and DESTROYERS. -ERANS- Establish a COLONY on Antares 3. Build only a NUCLEAR GEN and an OBSERVATORY. Oh dear! The sun is going to go supernova! Quick, send your TRADE GROUP to the Antares System to pick up your people! Oh, and pick up the Erans while you're at it. (Remember to send all of your GROUPS out of the system, or else...) -UNDORLINGS- Okay, you've got yourself an army. It is now safe to use your TRADE GROUP in the Orionis and the Lyrae system. Perhaps build a new COLONY or three. Discover the identity of the League members. Talk to the Eran in the bar. Ask him to convince the Undorlings to ally with you. You can soon build AIRCRAFT. Build 20 AIRCRAFT. (Remember to keep all your units armed.) -ATTACK- Invade the Druedians on Orionis 3. Easy. Invade the Hirachi on Lyrae 5. Easy. Invade the Lysonians on Lyrae 7. Difficult. You won. Send your ARMY GROUP home. Now make an eight "League" save slot. And you have another free COLONY! HOORAY! YOU'VE WON! AGAIN! You now have one more system to explore. -EARTH- Put a SATELLITE on Rigel 1. You find a shipwreck. You may soon research the MENTAL RADAR. Soon you will find Rigel 2. Send your TRADE GROUP there and say hi to the Syronians. You now have one more final system to explore. Do not send your TRADE GROUP to the SUN system. Use CARRIER GROUP only! You need: 100 HUNTERS 100 STARFIGHTERS 10 DESTROYERS 10 CRUISERS 50 MISSILE LAUNCHERS (Remember to arm them.) -ATTACK- Now make a ninth "Earth" save slot. Invade the Eartlings on Earth. Sit back and watch. HOORAY! YOU'VE WON! REALLY! YOU'VE WON! (No, there isn't a Reunion 2. It's all over.)
